NPI Engineering Manager
Daemeon has been working to bring medical device concepts to launch since 2001 when he joined Xtrak Medical and reprogrammed a custom spring winder to expand its capabilities. His now 19 year career has grown with his level of involvement in the programs he has assisted, led and ultimately managed as they have overcome the challenges common to development, yet unique to the individual device. Entrenchment in a third party D&D house has brought welcome exposure to a wide range of projects within the vascular, GI and pulmonary spaces from startups with a novel application to large companies seeking bandwidth developing disposable devices. Each has its special requirements, each phase of development has its defined deliverables, all of the organized chaos experienced during the transfer of a design to manufacturing is worthwhile when you hear the first story of a life affected, bettered or saved.
